Station 33
Station 33 known to the members of the RVFD as the "Country Club". Currently it houses Engine 331, Brush 335, Ambulance 339, and Rockville's Antique 1963 B-Model Mack Engine 34. Located in Potomac, Station 33 covers mostly residential areas. Its first due area is scattered with a few retailers, senior care facilities and many schools and churches. There are many large residences within Station 33's first due area. In the past members have responded to some very notable persons house, and never know where they will be called in the future. Station 33 continues to run an increasing amount of calls. Although this station's call volume is less than the 3 other Rockville Stations, it has been known to respond to some of the more significant fires and most serious car collisions and medical emergencies. Station 33 is staffed evenings and weekends by a combination of volunteer personnel and personnel from the Montgomery County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. It also houses members who live in the firehouse. These members staff apparatus multiple nights out of the week and contribute greatly to the training, staffing and overall atmosphere at Station 33.
